Welcome to Hemyock Castle
Long an important historic centre, today Hemyock Castle offers a warm welcome for Visitors, Schools, and Groups; and comfortable Self-Catering Holiday Accommodation. An excellent touring centre for Devon, Exmoor and Dartmoor.
Hemyock Castle is set amongst the now tranquil Blackdown Hills in Devon, England, just a few miles from the M5 Motorway and Taunton. The site is a scheduled Ancient Monument, open to the public on Bank Holiday Mondays (2 to 5 pm) between Easter and September. Schools and groups are welcome at any time, by prior arrangement.
The comfortable self-catering holiday accommodation within the castle grounds is open all year. Spring and Autumn are particularly attractive for a quieter holiday.
