Queen's Golden Jubilee Weekend
in Hemyock, Devon

On Monday 3rd June 2002, Hemyock Castle and Village celebrated the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II — fifty years since her accession to the throne.

Hemyock Castle is set in the now tranquil Culm Valley in Devon, England, just a few miles from the M5 Motorway and Taunton. The site is a scheduled Ancient Monument.

Hemyock Castle is a scheduled ancient monument, normally open for public tours on Bank Holiday Mondays (2 to 5 pm) between Easter and September or at other times for schools and groups.

Comfortable self-catering accommodation is available within the Castle grounds.
An excellent touring centre for coasts, beaches, towns and moors.
